VRGN

VRGN is techno DJ, producer and sound artist, working at the intersection of music, sound design, and social space. Her practice spans live performance, sound installations, radio, and participatory formats, moving between embodied dancefloor experiences and more introspective explorations of sound as material, environment, and expression.

As a DJ and producer, VRGN has an established presence both locally and internationally. She has performed at venues and festivals including Sónar Athens, ADD Festival, World Pride Malmö, and events in Edinburgh, Ireland, and Berkeley, sharing line-ups with artists such as Fadi Mohem, Obscure Shape, Answer Code Request, Matrixxman, and ONYVAA. Her selections and productions are rooted in contemporary techno, combining driving rhythms with textural depth and narrative tension.

She is the co-director of shesaid.so Athens and HER Project, initiatives supporting women and gender-diverse people in electronic music through education, DJ workshops, curated events, and public discussions, in collaboration with organisations such as AlphaTheta, Athens Pride, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and HE.SHE.THEY.

VRGN also hosts “PHASMA”, a monthly radio show on Cannibal Radio, using the platform to foreground emerging local and international artists and explore diverse sonic aesthetics.
